In Incredibles 2, Helen is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet, Dash and baby Jack-Jack – whose superpowers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.

  • One word: Incredible!

It only took 14 years, (Coincidentally, I am also 14 years old) but The Incredibles finally got a sequel. All the scenes with Jack-Jack are hilarious, especially the raccoon fight sequence. The colors are significantly brighter than in the first one (Most likely due to the improvement in CGI-animation after 14 years), too. Pixar seems to almost always have a huge time gap between films and their sequels, and this movie is no exception, beating the 13-year gap between Finding Nemo/Dory. Stay for the credits, I guarantee you will have Elastigirl, Frozone and Mr. Incredible’s theme songs stuck in your head for weeks! By the way, Toy Story 4 is out on June 21, 2019.
  • Disappointing Pixar

Love Pixar movies, unfortunately this one does not make the cut. My kids also love the Pixar movies, but they have taken the lovable characters and made this one non-family friendly. The only saving grace was Jack-Jack. Could have used a bit more of that. Everything else was too intense for the demographic. Also since when does Pixar use bad language? C’mon Pixar team, you can do better than this!

This movie is a massive bummer. The plot is just a gender swap from the first movie, so instead of the Dad doing stuff, the mom is doing stuff. 75% of the movie is just marital problems and it’s really sad. The first movie is so good compared to this
  • Not as good

    By Disco56
Not as good as the first one mainly because of all the bickering between family members. People watch a movie to get away from this not go to a movie be assaulted with this crap.
  • Good Family Movie

Kids loved it but got a little scare. Disney did great with this movie.
  • Not as good as the first movie

This just isn't nearly as good as the first film. The first movie was magical, and this second installment is missing that. Its visually excellent, and its entertaining, but its not the same level of writing in terms of originality and story. I'm disappointed.

Such a great movie, so worth buying.
  • Not As Good As The Original

    By T Sullivant
Sequels are rarely as good as the original and Incredibles 2, sadly, is no where near as good as its predecessor. What’s worse, its full of socialistic talking points, bringing sighs and eye-rolls. The movie starts with a bang in the opening scene and then flat-lines. Typical hollow-wood.
  • Best Pixar movie

This Pixar movie is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen
  • Another Hollywood anti-male movie

    By Couchto21k
Seems like a major theme here is that the male figure is a bumbling fool who isn’t as good as his wife in the field of heroism, and is entirely useless at parenting, hapless and completely overwhelmed as a father. Certainly the film has redeeming aspects but this repetitive new-age feminism we see more and more from Hollywood is a bit nauseating. There are much better ways to highlight the heroic virtues of women without making a mockery of male figures.
